Was inspired by this new article (in which the writer declares DWL to be an underrated movie) to start a thread for DWL discussion. ;D Renée Zellweger and David Hyde Pierce are a modern-day Day and Randall. In fact, if someone was ever to make a biopic of Tony Randall, I don't think anyone but Pierce could play the role. He just inhabits that insecure, uptight persona so well. Aww. Post your thoughts on the movie! What were your favourite bits? Your favourite quotes? Your favourite outfits? Let us know!

One word: eyebrow! That look right before Peter kisses Vickie in the end is priceless.
I like all the double entendres throughout, particularly the scene where Peter and Catcher are discussing sock length, and the phone calls between Catcher and Barbara every time he gets way laid.
This line from Peter is another favorite: "I'd respect you and resent you day and night and night and day."
I love the mini fashion shows the girls put on when they enter the restaurant.
Overall, the four main cast members all have great chemistry. You can tell they're having fun and that makes it fun to watch.

Four words for mine - DHP in the bath!
If that was all the movie consisted of I'd still be happy.
Seriously, he is the best thing in it. RZ annoys me, the dialogue seems clunky sometimes and trying to be cleverer than it is, but David is effortlessly perfect, and his comedy is crisp and faultless.

The guy is Ewan Magregor he is slightly annoying , i love the scene where he is at the elevator with Vickie and he turns to the camera and says " im just like everyother man " and plants a smacker then he scoots off all confident scooping her up along the way . I to find the lead cast a bit off putting so the only reason i watch it is for DHP i also love the gag reel it's nice to see DHP having quite a giggle .

That crazy monologue of Renee's at the end is one of my favourite bits. Even the twists have twists! Love it.

David was so adorable in this movie. In the gag reel his giggle was adorable. I love that! He makes this movie for me which is why I watch it to make me smile when I'm sad or sick.
Plus, it makes me smile when David squeals "Oh!" He's a cutie.
The eyebrow thing made me laugh!

I actually saw this in the theater when it came out (I love Ewan McGregor, and hadn't really fallen in love with David yet), but I loved it then. I just rented it about a month ago and I liked it even more than I did originally. David actually does make the movie, in my opinion. He's so charming and just plain cute. I really like how he and Vikki get together

Just watched this again. Great fun! Ooh see what you all mean about the eyebrow! Loved that bit. Loved the blooper reel and David's giggle too.
My friend went to the same school as Ewen McGregor although he was several years younger and she didn't know him.

I must have missed the bath part and the blooper reel... Might have to try and find the DVD even though I shouldn't spend any more money...... Just bought it for £3.99 on play.com. Not bad
