I just saw Moons Over Seattle. I love Brian Cox as Daphne's father. Yes, Brian Cox is great. He's one of ours - Scottish of course!

Watched The Candidate today. Without getting too political, I'll just say it's amazing how some things never change.

I watch Frasier every night on Lifetime, but the last episode I saw was the one after Niles and Daphne got marride.

The other day I watched Star Mitzvah. It's such a clever episode, in my opinion. I love that ancient camera that Martin has. It blinds everyone. It reminds me a lot of some of the cameras my mom and dad own ;D I love when Frasier reads the blessing in klingon. It's hilarious!!!!! And that whole bit with Daphne finding out that Niles slept with Lillith. So great. I love that episode.

Watched Martin does it his way
Wonderfully funny episode. Love it when Niles can't open Aunt Louise's ashes.
Oh and can't get "She's such a groovy lady" out of my head. Adore the bit when Frasier, Niles and Martin are rehearsing at the piano. I could watch them doing that all night!

Had to have a Daphne hates Sherry fix the other day! What can I say?? The whole scene at the Montana with hot Niles and hot Daphne -I hadn't watched it for a while!! To raise the tone I also love this bit. It's Niles' reaction I love. Frasier: All right, all right, fine, it's like the Roman emperor Tiberius, his mother Livia, and his wife Vipsania. Martin: What? Sherry: Huh? Daphne: Who? Niles: Go on.

Reminds me of this part in Frasier's Curse: Daphne: Am I glad you're home. Martin: What's wrong? Daphne: Dr. Crane! Ever since he came back from his job interview he seemed awfully depressed. In fact, he's as bad as I've ever seen him! Niles: Oh, I guess it didn't go well. Daphne: I gather not. He mumbled something about it being worse than the Dresden premiere of Schumann's Second Symphony. Niles: And you left him alone?!

Ooh I just love Niles' last line here and I'm hearing the way David says this right now! ;D
Thank you for reminding me of this. It gets such laughs in our house especially because the bit about it being worse than the Dresden premiere of Schumann's Second Symphony is the kind of thing my son would say - no - really! Frasier's a bit of a documentary in our house as I've probably said before.
WARNING OFF TOPIC
I'll tell you sometime about my son declaring that 'Everbody knows Stravinsky's Rite of Spring was forshadowing rock music!' (It caused a riot on it's premiere btw).
When he said this I immediately imagined a Monty Python-type sketch.
There would be two women in headscarfs and long coats in a corner shop somewhere in England circa 1970 - you know - Graham Chapman and Terry Jones in drag - saying something like this,
Terry Jones: "Ooh, that Stravinsky and his Rite of Spring - foreshadowing rock music he was, naughty boy!"
Graham Chapman: "Ooh I know dear! Thought he could pull the wool over our eyes - guitar riffs all over the place!"
