Ooh, and of course An Oak Tree! He played the part of the father, who (I think) confronts the driver who hit his son in a road accident. Interesting thing about this play is that the actor who plays the father changes every night and has no script, so they improv the whole thing. Sounds like a terrifying challenge but I bet David pulled it off. Seem to remember reading an excellent post, I think on the FM site, from somone who'd seen David in An Oak Tree. You won't be surprised to hear his performance was stunning. I would have given up limbs and several teeth to have seen this. I could probably find the post pretty easily, but I'm not sure what the etiquette is (if there is any) re taking stuff from other websites. I don't think there'd be much harm in posting it if we provide a link back to the original and credit the author. (btw Muffin - your Lucky Lucky Little Teddy gets my vote for "Cutest Avatar in any Forum Ever" )

(DHP in NYC, one night only). A couple of people saw his performance. It would have been out of this world to have been there.

I just read the post at FM. Oh my goodness, An Oak Tree has to climb to the top of the list of things I wish I'd seen. It sounds like a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I would of loved to see anything he has done on stage besides the fact i have never ever been to the theatre to see anything , seeing DHP is the only reason i think i would go to , of it would be a bit of an expensive night out for me as i would have to hot foot it over to the US to see it ....unless he decides his next project could be over here well i can hope . The one i really would love to see is Curtains as from the few clips ive seen i love the musical element to it and seeing David singing and dancing would be awsome .
